Entertainment control is the ability to control your TV’s and video sources — Blu-rays, Satellite Receivers, Apple TVs, etc. In the industry it’s often referred to as Video Distribution, but where it’s an unfamiliar term to most Clients, we prefer to call it Entertainment Control. Through your Smart Home App, you’re able to control the TV of your choosing, and select and manage the content playing to that TV. It’s a bit like a Universal Remote, but it’s all through your Smart Home App, and it can be used to control as many TV’s and Video Sources as you have in the home.
In Hardwired systems, we centralize al the Video Sources in a Media Rack, and then distribute the Video content out to the different TV’s. Hence the name ‘Video Distribution.’ In Wireless applications, we place a wireless controller behind each TV, or in your media cabinet, and use that to control all of your Video Sources for that TV. If you want to control multiple TV’s, you just add in additional controllers. One for each TV.
